Felix smirked. "After all that talk, it's all just a ploy to escape. You think I'll fall for it?
Admittedly, Helena was beautiful. A lesser man might have found her hard to resist.
"You've been by my side all along yet were unaffected by my abilities. All of it was an act. Don't you want a beautiful woman like me?" Helena smiled.
Felix stood up and prepared to leave. "Rest up. Don't try anything reckless, or you'll be the one to suffer."
The next moment, Helena suddenly tore off her dress, revealing her seductive form. But Felix turned away and missed the sight.
"My mission is almost complete," she murmured.
As Felix walked, he felt his body waver. He pulled out the harmonica and started playing while lighting another piece of memorial coin.
Helena immediately showed signs of agony. But moments later, Felix felt his strength draining. His vision blurred, and he no longer had the energy to continue playing the harmonica.
"Stop resisting. This is your destiny, as well as mine. Come to me," Helena whispered.
For some reason, Felix found himself moving toward her, his last shred of rationality fading.
The cabin was soon filled with moans of passion.
When it was over, Felix regained his senses, terrified. "What did you do to me?"
Helena lay lazily on the bed, one hand propping up her face. "What do you think we just did? Relax. Not only did I not harm you, but you've gained something beneficial. The Destiny Crystal within me has now been transferred to your soul. It is the foundation of your future as a savior."
Felix examined himself but found nothing out of the ordinary. He could not sense if the crystal truly resided in his soul.
"The Destiny Crystal will strengthen your soul. You'll see its benefits over time. But remember, never tell anyone that you possess the Destiny Crystal, or it will bring disaster upon you.
"Right now, you may not fully understand, but one day, you'll know everything," Helena explained.
Seeing no malice in Helena's demeanor, Felix calmed down. "Can't you just tell me everything now?"
Helena chuckled. "The more you know, the worse it will be for you. Just trust me."
She licked her lips and added, "So this is what intimacy feels like. Sigh, I wouldn't have volunteered to be a vigilante if I knew. I could've enjoyed life a bit more."
Helena sat up and caressed Felix's face. "You are my first man, and you'll be my only one. When Tony and I meet again, our lives will end, and we'll eventually vanish. No one will even remember that we ever existed except for you." What a bleak fate...noveldrama
Felix didn't know how to respond.
"There's still some time before we reach Dragonia, right? My final wish is to experience that feeling a little more. It's shameful, yet... so hard to let go of." Helena smiled.
Under the bright sun, Xena stood at a port in Dragonia, gazing out at the sea. The entire harbor had been closed off. While not the highest level of security, the scale of the operation was impressive. "Felix, you really know how to surprise me!' Xena never expected Felix to complete his mission in just half a month, despite being alone and unsupported. He had exceeded her expectations.
What do you think?
