Master of his heart (Brielle and Max)

Chapter 1563

Dinner was a smashing success, with everyone raving about Matthew's culinary skills.

While Aubree and Brielle dished about the latest trends and travel hotspots, Max and Matthew dove into North America's stock market, chatting like old pals despite their age gap-a nod to Max's legendary Wall Street days. After their convo, Max took a sip of wine, nodding in approval. "Matthew's got a good head on his shoulders for someone so young," he said, a rare compliment coming from him.

Brielle, catching this, knew Max's seal of approval was not easily earned. Aubree and Matthew exchanged playful glances, with Matthew giving her a wink that brought a smile to her lips. Brielle watched them, feeling a wave of relief. It was clear they were head over heels for each other, and she felt content knowing Aubree had found someone who brought out the best in her.

As they were leaving, Brielle hugged Aubree tightly, her voice thick with emotion. "Congrats," she whispered.

Aubree stiffened for a moment, then gave Brielle's back a gentle pat. "I'm the lucky one," she replied softly.

Brielle was left speechless, her heart full. On the drive home, she couldn't help but sing Matthew's praises to Max, who didn't seem too thrilled.

"Are you saying I'm getting old?" Max teased, half-serious.

"Don't be silly," Brielle quipped back with a grin.

Max pulled her close. "If you weren't pregnant, I'd show you just how 'old' I am."

Brielle blushed, playfully nudging his shoulder. "You're getting cheekier by the day."

Max just smiled, holding her tight. "Looks like those two might tie the knot soon." "Really, that fast?" Brielle wondered.noveldrama

"Did you see them falling this hard, this quickly?" Max asked, and she had to admit, he was right.

Cozy in Max's arms, Brielle felt at ease knowing Aubree was loved and appreciated.

Meanwhile, Aubree was about to help Matthew in the kitchen, but he had other plans. He led her to the sunroom, filled with flowers he'd

planted just for her, even there

which she hadn't realized he knew

she liked.

Surrounded by the fragrant blooms, Aubree was at a loss for words, touched by his thoughtfulness.

Matthew returned, kitchen spotless, with a glass of water, advising against sweets to avoid morning puffiness-a sure sign he'd been researching beauty tips for her.

Aubree pulled him closer, resting her head on his shoulder. They talked about her upcoming month-long shoot in another city. Matthew. offered to go with her, but Aubree

declined, not wanting to cause a stir.

Matthew reluctantly agreed but insisted on visiting her on set, to which Aubree nodded, her heart warmed by his care.
